Unique Morris is a Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Unique is a K-5 instructional facilitator at Washington Elementary School in Riverdale, IL, where she focuses on reading and math instruction for students that score below grade level. Unique serves on the school leadership team, district resilient team, and is vice president/president elect of the Dolton 148 Education Association. She also is the grassroots political activist for Region 27 in the Illinois Education Association and was awarded the district’s professional service award in 2013. Unique has previously taught 3rd grade and 1st grade at Roosevelt Elementary School in Dolton, IL. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Psychology and earned her certificate in Elementary Education from Trinity Christian College, an MA in Teaching Leadership in 2008, and an MA in Educational Administration from Saint Xavier University.
