Xavier Nguyen is a 2018-19 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Xavier teaches special education math and science at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California, where he serves on the district co-teaching committee and is a technology lead on site. He is also the assessment coordinator and advisor for National Honor Society. Xavier has served as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar through the U.S. Department of Education, and Benjamin A. Gilman Scholar through the U.S. Department of State to Nanjing, China. He graduated with his BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California and earned his MS in Educational Studies from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Education.
