Linda Valdivia is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. Linda is a 1st grade dual language immersion teacher, Odyssey of the Mind facilitator, school site council member and positive behavioral interventions & supports team member at Cloverdale Elementary School in Moreno Valley, California. She has the honor of teaching students with the goal of fostering a love for culture through language and developing bilingual and biliterate scholars. Linda began her career in Moreno Valley as a general education development testing coordinator, continued as a California English language development test facilitator, and most recently an English language proficiency assessments for California testing facilitator. Linda was named Seneca Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year in Moreno Valley. She earned her BS in psychology from the University of Maryland, her MEd in professional learning communities from Grand Canyon University and bilingual, cross-cultural, language and academic development (BCLAD) credential from University of Riverside Extension, California.
