Bonnetta Vaughn is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent. She is a K-3 interventionist and STEM teacher at Laura S. Ward STEM School in Chicago, as well as a We Teach Special Education Instructional Coach and member of Laura Ward’s Local School Council. Bonnetta taught preK for seven years, middle school social studies for three years, and 1st grade for 10 years. She earned an associate’s in early childhood education, bachelor’s with a Type 03 Teaching Certification that includes middle school science and social science endorsements, and master’s in special education with a LSB1 Certification.
