Veronica Hicks teaches Pre-K-4th grade at KIPP ZENITH Academy in Houston, where she also serves as grade level and literacy chair and field trip coordinator. Previously, Veronica taught kindergarten for one year and pre-K-4th grade for four years. In 2012, Veronica co-founded the KIPP ZENITH STAR Steppers. She has developed curriculum and alignment amongst KIPP HOUSTON pre-K-3 and 4 and has led schoolwide and regional professional development trainings on classroom management for early childhood teachers. Veronica earned a BS in Early Childhood Education from McNeese State University and her MEd in School Counseling from Texas Southern University.
