Hollie Vessels is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow, a 5th grade humanities teacher, and a PLC leader at Riverside Intermediate School in Fishers, Indiana. She focuses on teaching children reading, writing, and social studies in the areas of ENL, high ability, RTI, and general education in order to help every child grow into a successful and healthy person. She has taught in grades 1-6, been a PLC leader, and been a junior high drama director. Hollie was named a Golden Apple Teacher of Distinction in Collier County Schools in Florida and was named Middle Grade Teacher of the Year in Hamilton Southeastern Schools in Fishers, Indiana. She earned a BA in elementary education from Indiana University and an MEd in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University.
