Amy Ward is a 2025-2026 Mississippi Delta Change Agent and educator at Yazoo City High School in Yazoo City, Mississippi. In public education in the state for 23 years, she has taught English, U.S. history, and math, believing that a nurtured child becomes an avid and successful learner. Amy has served as the head of the English department, school test coordinator, district test coordinator, and lead mentor. She received her bachelor’s in accountancy from Mississippi College, an MBA from Belhaven University, and an Educational Specialist in leadership from Belhaven University. Amy is pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership from Belhaven University.
