Chancy L. Ware is a 2025–2026 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow. She teaches family consumer science and business for grades 7-12, and is a Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Advisor, Mentor of Sensational Young Ladies, and Mineral Springs Education Association Local President at Mineral Springs High School in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Chancy was executive vice president of an online financial literacy platform (2017), Summer Mentor for the Arkansas Teacher Corps Summer Institute (2025), and recognized for having the most members join the Mineral Springs Education Association (2024-2025). Chancy began her teaching career as an Arkansas Teacher Corps member (2024). She earned a BS in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in criminology, sociology, and social work and a minor in sociology from Arkansas State University; a Child Development Associate credential from Penn Foster Career School; and an MS in psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development from Capella University.
