Chancy L. Ware is a 2026–2027 Teach Plus Arkansas & Mississippi Senior Policy Fellow and a third-year Arkansas Teacher Corps Fellow. She is an educator at Mineral Springs High School in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, where she teaches family and consumer sciences, career development, and college & career readiness for grades 7–12. During the 2026–2027 school year, Chancy launched the Pre-Educator Pathway and will serve as the Educators Rising Advisor. She also serves as the Mineral Springs Education Association Local President. Chancy previously served as Summer Mentor for the Arkansas Teacher Corps Summer Institute (2025-2026). She earned a BS in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in criminology, sociology, and social work, along with a minor in sociology, from Arkansas State University. Chancy also earned a Child Development Associate credential from Penn Foster Career School and an MS in psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development from Capella University.
