Chelsea Washington is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and 7th-grade English language arts teacher at Woolfolk Middle School in Yazoo City, Mississippi. She was recognized for obtaining Growth of All Points on the third nine-week benchmark and for the Most Growth of Lowest Performing Students on the third nine-week benchmark (both in 2024). Chelsea earned her BS in both government/ politics and speech communications from Mississippi Valley State University and her MA in organizational leadership from Bethune-Cookman University. She is pursuing her MA in teaching from Belhaven University.
