Diane Wells is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and is a 2nd and 3rd grade Special Education teacher leader at Turner Intermediate School in Wilkinsburg. She serves on the district’s Instructional Leadership Team representing the Special Education Department, and is a mentor teacher and member of the Academic Support Team. Diane began her teaching career in Wilkinsburg in 2002 and has since instructed students in various grades between kindergarten and 5th grade. She earned her BA in Communication and Psychology from The University of Pittsburgh, and an MEd with a concentration in Special Education from The University of Pittsburgh-Main.
