Tracee Wells is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and Learning Loss Instructional Support Specialist at East Saint Louis School District 189 in East Saint Louis. She serves on the District Leadership Team and the Instructional Leadership Team. She previously served as Mentor Resident Leader/Coach in the district’s teacher residency program, the AVID District Director, Coordinator and Elective Teacher, and supported teachers as the ELA Instructional Coach. She received the Metro Area Professional Organization Excelling Teacher Award (2017); and she was named Division I Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year (2008). She earned a BA in English with teacher licensure and an MA in Education in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, from Tennessee State University. Tracee is working on her EdD in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
