Kathia West is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. She is Dean of Student Culture at Harmony School of Excellence (HSI), El Paso, and a seasoned educator with 22 years of experience. Kathia has been with Harmony for 13 years, with the last 10 as campus administrator. She has helped her school become a State and National School of Character. Before this, she served as Dean of Academics for nine years, where she helped HSI, El Paso, become a top school in the city, earning all seven academic distinctions (2016). Prior to her years in leadership, Kathia taught 2nd grade for three years at HSI, El Paso. She has a BS in social psychology from Park University, as well as a MA in education & innovation from Webster University. Kathia is certified in early childhood-6th grade generalist and English as a second language.
