Desiree White-Price is 2026-2027 Teach Plus Literacy Forward Network – PA Teacher Leader and 1st grade teacher in Woodland Hills School District located in Pittsburgh’s Mon Valley. With 18 years in teaching, she led a team of district administrators, teachers, and support staff examining the professional development policy that resulted in opportunities for teachers of color to feel included and valued. Desiree earned a BA in communications from Carlow University, master’s in elementary education from Duquesne University, and master’s in technology education and online learning from Liberty University.
