Danielle Jo White-Yelito is a 2026 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet Member and science teacher at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts. She focuses on advancing multilingual learner success and on strengthening relevant, authentic instruction. Danielle has held a wide range of instructional and schoolwide leadership roles, including serving as a curriculum developer and reviewer, Environmental and Recycling Club leader, behavior intervention coordinator, media mentor, and an active member of multiple curriculum, assessment, and school improvement teams. In 2026, Danielle was selected as a Science Communication Lab Ambassador and named a Pulitzer Center Teacher Fellow in 2025. She was also previously honored with her district’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council Award and Cultural Council grants.
Danielle was a 2024–2025 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and is currently an active member of the Massachusetts Educator Collective for Change, drawing on her experience teaching environmental science, biotechnology, physics, anatomy and physiology, and biology across grades 9–12.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, where she studied flute, biology, environmental studies, and education; completed her master’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and earned a certificate in instructional technology from the University of La Verne.
