Corey Winchester is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and high school teacher in Chicago. He serves as founder and lead consultant of House of Winchester Learning Designs. Corey has worked with Evanston Township High School, the Golden Apple Foundation, the Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship, and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. He was named Loyola University Chicago Distinguished Alumnus (2016), received the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching (2019), Gilder Lehrman Illinois History Teacher of the Year (2020), and Cook County Board of Commissioners Resolution (2024). Corey earned a BS in education and social policy from Northwestern University, MA in learning sciences from Northwestern University, and MEd in cultural and educational policy studies from Loyola University Chicago.
