Hollie Woodard

Hollie Woodard is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a high school English teacher and technology coach at Council Rock High School North in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Hollie began her career in education in 1998 as a middle school teaching assistant working with students with learning differences. She has been teaching 11th and 12th grade English in the Council Rock School District since 2008. Hollie was a 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Finalist, PETE&C’s 2022 Innovator of the Year, and PSEA’s 2022 California Casualty Award for Teaching Excellence recipient. Hollie is the Advocacy Chair of PAECT and the author of Hacking Flex Teaching: 10 Solutions for your Blended, Hybrid, or Distance Learning Classroom. She earned her BA in Communications and English from LaSalle University, Philadelphia and an MEd in Educational Information Technology from Arcadia University, Glenside.
