Adele Wright is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent and International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Coordinator at Andrew Carnegie Elementary School in Chicago. She is also her school’s Technology Coordinator, supporting instructional innovation and digital learning integration across content areas. Previously, Adele was Science Department Chair and STEM Exhibition Scholarship Committee Chairperson. She was named Golden Apple Scholar (2004), achieved a 38% increase in student standardized test scores in one school year, and was Chicago Youth Service Corps Coordinator with Lawrence Hall Youth Services. Adele advocates for digital equity and the continuous improvement of teacher practice, supporting initiatives that integrate technology to enhance access, engagement, and instructional effectiveness. She earned a BS in elementary education from Illinois State University, MEd in instructional leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and EdS in administration and supervision from National Louis University.
