Mollie Wright is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Mollie teaches English II at Garland High School in Garland, Texas. Previously, she was a Distinguished Teacher of English II at Dr. Emmett J. Conrad High School in Dallas, Texas, and an English teacher with the Puente Project at James Logan High School in Union City, California. Her earliest forays into classroom teaching began during and after college when she served as a WorldTeach Volunteer ESL teacher in Costa Rica and a Peace Corps Volunteer ESL teacher on the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. A member of NCTE and TCTELA, she holds a BA in English from Harvard College and an EdM in language & literacy Education from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.
