Mollie Wright is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Texas Alumni Network Fellow and 9th and 12th grade English teacher at Garland High School in Garland, Texas. She leads a district pilot Comprehensive Dual-Credit pathway and supports International Baccalaureate students. Mollie previously was a Distinguished Teacher of English at Dr. Emmett J. Conrad High School, an English teacher with the Puente Project at James Logan High School, and a WorldTeach and Peace Corps Volunteer English as a second language teacher in Costa Rica and Micronesia. Mollie is a Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellowship alumna. She was named Garland High School Teacher of the Year (2026), serves on the Texas Education Agency’s Texas Accountability Advisory Group (2025), holds a Recognized Teacher Incentive Allotment designation (2024), and belongs to NCTE and TCTELA. Mollie holds a BA in English from Harvard College and an EdM in language and literacy education from Boston University.
