Nicole Wyglendowski is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a K-5 Special Education Learning Support teacher at Edward T. Steel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She provides academic interventions on a small group level in order to build foundational skills that help her students thrive in all settings. Nicole has been awarded the medallion in Elementary Education in her undergraduate career at Rowan University and a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Scholar and is a Fulbright grantee. She is her building’s representative for The Philadelphia Federation of Teachers. Nicole earned her BA in Elementary Education and English, with certifications in Special Education and Middle School ELA from Rowan University, Glassboro, and an MS in Education Policy from The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
