Nicole Wyglendowski is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Senior Policy Fellow. She is a K-2 special education teacher and Pennsylvania Federation of Teachers (PFT) Building Representative at Edward T. Steel Elementary School in Philadelphia. Nicole coaches Girls on the Run after school, leads Tune Up Tuesday and Educator Symposium professional development sessions, and is an induction mentor. She began her teaching career as a Fulbright teacher in Taiwan (2017). She was a National Endowment of the Humanities Summer Scholar (2020 and 2021). Nicole earned a BA in elementary education, special education, and English at Rowan University in New Jersey and MS in education policy at The University of Pennsylvania.
