Isabel Zambrano is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent. She is a bilingual and English as Second Language 4th grade teacher at Talman Elementary in Chicago, supporting language development and academic growth for multilingual learners through differentiated instruction, data-driven practices, and family engagement. Isabel was the cohort leader for the Instructional Leadership Program for Future Principals in partnership with Northeastern University at her school, successfully recruiting 10 teachers to join the program and supporting six participants who completed it. She participated in the University of Illinois Chicago Student Teacher Mentoring Program (2014–2024). Isabel earned a BA in elementary education with a concentration in bilingual education and English as a Second Language from Saint Xavier University and master’s in leadership and instruction with a Type 75 Certification from Northeastern University.
