Rania Zeithar is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator. She is a special education teacher and science co-teacher at Plano High School in Plano, Illinois. Rania is a founder and director of several weekend community educational programs. She was a paraprofessional for 13 years and served as Arabic Language Team Lead at ICN Alfalah Academy. Rania was nominated for the Plano Premier Award (2018–2019), earned her Certified Scrum Master Certificate (2021) and Bilingual Education Teaching License (2021), and testified before the Illinois House Higher Education Appropriations Committee (2024). She earned a BS in business administration from Alexandria University in Egypt and a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 endorsement from Blackburn College in Illinois.
