Sharae Curd

As Managing Director of Programs, Sharae will oversee all Teach Plus PA’s school and district focused practice programs across Pennsylvania. With over 18 years of experience in the field of education, most recently with Pittsburgh Public Schools, Sharae has served as a classroom teacher, after-school program coordinator, instructional coach, facilitator, curriculum writer, and district level leader. She has led continuous improvement processes at the district level and has managed various programs, supported the implementation of district-wide structures and processes, led multiple cross-functional teams, & culture & climate initiatives. Sharae began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member in New York City’s Public School system. Sharae earned her BSBA from the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Human Resources & Organizational Behavior and her MST at Pace University. Sharae lives in Pittsburgh and enjoys spending time outdoors and with her husband and three children.
