Malcolm Davis

Malcolm Davis is the Teach Plus Pennsylvania Program Director, where he leads the Philadelphia Affinity Group Network (PAGN), an initiative focused on strengthening the recruitment, retention, and development of educators of color across Philadelphia. In this role, Malcolm supports and develops teacher leaders who facilitate affinity spaces, builds partnerships across Philadelphia’s education community, and leads efforts to expand the network’s reach and impact. He also works alongside educators and partners to elevate educator voice, strengthen pathways into the profession, and advance practices that foster belonging and professional growth.

Prior to joining Teach Plus, Malcolm served as Executive Director of Recruitment & Selection for the School District of Philadelphia, where he led recruitment strategy and initiatives to strengthen and diversify the educator workforce. He previously led districtwide strategy implementation efforts and held talent roles with KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools, Selected, Inc., and Uncommon Schools. Throughout his career, Malcolm has built educator pipelines, developed cross-sector partnerships, and advanced initiatives focused on increasing access and opportunity within public education.

Malcolm holds a Master’s in Public Education Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from Full Sail University. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and son. Outside of work, Malcolm enjoys watching the Eagles (Go Birds!), spending time with his family, and writing.
