Sasha Dzubay joins Teach Plus, Illinois Affinity Group Network, as Manager of Special Projects, leading efforts in special projects after supporting and consulting in event and project management. Responsible for project implementation, process improvement, and event planning, logistics, and execution, she will manage the details that ensure quality and protect the fidelity of an organization’s brand and programming.
A graduate of Trinity International University with a degree in Organizational Leadership, she marries her academic foundation with an accomplished background in luxury service administration, marketing, and event management. Her work with start-up nonprofits and renowned chefs sparked “a love for the energy of exceptional service,” a passion she carries into every endeavor. Sasha infuses her proclivity for order, creativity, and pristine service into all that she does, consistently driving results with excellence.
Sasha’s entrepreneurial spirit has expanded her passion for holistic wellness, completing her 200-hour yoga teacher certification with over 100 hours of continued education in trauma-informed, restorative, and yin yoga, yoga nidra, and sound and ceremony. She brings this work to the forefront, creating intentional spaces for pause, reflection, and spaciousness. As a Korean-born adoptee raised in Minnesota, Sasha’s perspective of growing up as an undefined “other” inspires her desire to curate safety around identity and belonging. Her passion flows into everything that she delivers. Sasha delights in doing the critical, behind-the-scenes work that defines movements toward change.
