Chris Havener serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Aramark. In this role, he is responsible for Aramark’s litigation, employment law, and government affairs functions, as well as providing legal support to Aramark’s global supply chain and group purchasing organizations.
Havener joined Aramark in 2015 and has held several roles of increasing responsibility since that time. In 2020, Havener stood up Aramark’s federal government affairs function in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and he continues to lead that function. Since 2021, he has represented Aramark on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Aramark, Havener was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia in the Labor and Employment group, where his practice focused on complex litigation, wage and hour matters, and restrictive covenants.
Havener is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Princeton University. He lives in South Philadelphia with his wife Siobhan and their two sons, Michael and Henry. Michael and Henry are both students at Southwark, a K-8 Community School in the School District of Philadelphia.
