Phil Jaurigue

Philip Jaurigue is the Chairman and CEO of Sabre Systems, Inc., a highly successful engineering, and technology services concern supporting the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies and more recently, the private sector. Jaurigue has a strong track record of leading Sabre and has demonstrated his ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and profitability. Mr. Jaurigue’s expertise includes business strategy, technology innovation, financial management, and organizational development. He is known for his strong leadership skills, his ability to build and motivate high-performing teams, and his focus on creating value for shareholders.

For over thirty-five years, under Mr. Jaurigue’s leadership, Sabre manages a workforce of over 400 throughout the U.S. It has been formally recognized as a Gold Medallion Employer by the Department of Labor for its hiring and retention of veterans and maintains a robust DEI program. Mr. Jaurigue has been recognized by Ernst and Young as a winner in its prestigious Entrepreneur of The Year program and the Wharton School of Business as its inaugural member of the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame. He has been a recipient of the CEO of the Year Award by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia.

Mr. Jaurigue is the son of Filipino physicians who emigrated to the United States and eventually settled in the Philadelphia area where they both enjoyed successful careers practicing medicine and raising three sons with Phil as the eldest. He attended the University of Notre Dame and later received his MBA from the Fox School of Business of Temple University. He also completed an Advanced Executive Development Program at Dartmouth College.

Mr. Jaurigue raised his family of three children in Bucks County outside of Philadelphia and enjoys spending time with them and his grandchildren at a variety of sporting events, concerts, theater performances and at the Jersey shore. Phil also plays guitar and piano and has led his church’s youth music ministry group and currently serves on its school advisory board.

Active as a volunteer and on boards in both Philadelphia and Washington DC, Mr. Jaurigue’s focus has been primarily with non-profit organizations having STEM/STEAM, veterans’ affairs, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and faith- based education missions. Organizations supported include or have included the Professional Services Council, Neumann University, Temple University’s Fox School of Business, Children’s First of PA, Teach Plus PA, the Philadelphia Orchestra-Kimmel Center, NDIA, The Committee of Seventy and The Free Library of Philadelphia. As a former board member of the Cancer Support Community, he annually participates in the “Real Men Wear Pink” program. In 2023, Mr. Jaurigue was named to the Pennsylvania Governor’s Workforce Development Board after serving on the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs. He has been recognized by the YMCA and Scouting America (formerly BSA) for his community work in the Philadelphia area.
