LaShannon Morgan is the Senior Associate of Finance Operations at Teach Plus, where she handles essential operational functions to support the organization’s mission of empowering teacher leaders.
Before joining Teach Plus, LaShannon developed her expertise in operational and administrative management within Student Affairs at Jackson State University. In this role, she provided high-level support to staff members and led the execution of complex projects and university events.
LaShannon is a double alumna of Jackson State University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and her MPPA with a concentration in Public Finance. Her academic background provides her with a deep understanding of fiscal management and policy, which she leverages to drive efficiency and transparency in non-profit operations.
A resident of Jackson, Mississippi, LaShannon is dedicated to both her professional community and her family. Outside of her work, she is a passionate enthusiast of interior design, finding creative balance through transforming spaces.
