As Managing Director of People at Teach Plus, Nicole leads the organization’s talent strategy and oversees the day-to-day operations of the People function. She ensures that all people systems, policies, and practices are closely aligned with Teach Plus’ mission, values, and strategic priorities. Nicole guides key areas including talent acquisition, employee experience, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational culture. A trusted advisor to senior leadership, she fosters a high-performing, people-centered culture and prioritizes staff well-being and equity across all HR practices.
Nicole joined Teach Plus in 2014 after serving as HR Manager at Leading Educators, where she supported the organization through a period of rapid growth. Earlier in her career, she worked as a recruiter at a Boston-based staffing agency and provided HR support at a private real estate development firm. A committed advocate for mentorship and community engagement, Nicole has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Each One Save One.
She holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and lives in Massachusetts with her husband and three sons.
