Dr. Toglia is the Director of Capacity Building for the PA Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She began her career as an outpatient child and adolescent therapist in community mental health working with underserved children and families. As a Certified School Psychologist, Dr. Toglia has served in the Pennsylvania public school system for the last 20 years, working with students who present with a broad range of learning and social emotional needs. She has developed a particular interest in literacy and has been working to promote structured literacy teacher preparation and implementation in Pennsylvania. Dr. Toglia is a member of the Instructional Strategies working group for the Read by 4 th Campaign in Philadelphia. She holds a M.S. in Clinical Child Psychology from Vanderbilt University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Management from Drexel University.
