Dominicca is the Director of Educator Leadership for CITE at Teach Plus. In this role, she will collaborate closely with the CITEL team to develop and implement an educator engagement strategy that strengthens efforts to implement team-based strategic school staffing with High-Quality Instructional Materials.
In her previous role as an NSI Educator Leadership Coach, she guided CPS teacher leaders and principals through continuous improvement cycles, data-informed decision-making, and the development of distributed leadership models. She brings over a decade of experience advancing teacher leadership, instructional strategy, and equity-centered reform. Her expertise also spans policy and advocacy. As a Teach Plus Policy Fellow, Dominicca advanced initiatives to strengthen teacher affinity groups and improve retention of educators of color, and she has led districtwide equity professional development in partnership with Chicago Public Schools. Beyond policy and coaching, she is the Founder and Executive Director of SHE Chicago, a nonprofit integrating social-emotional learning, community engagement, and college and career exploration for Black and Brown girls.
A dynamic, innovative leader with certifications in design thinking, equity, and grant writing, Dominicca brings a proven record of bridging policy and practice, scaling educator-led initiatives, and empowering teachers to transform systems for student success.
