Yohan Chang (he/him) is the National Policy Curriculum Manager on the National Program Team. He leads the Policy Fellowship curriculum development and continuous improvement across all regions. Yohan joined Teach Plus in 2018 as the Indiana Policy Associate supporting the Indiana Policy Fellowship to manage recruitment and selection of multiple cohorts, identify policy opportunities for policy fellows, and oversee writing of op-eds and policy briefs. Yohan also served as the co-chair of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee for the Teach Plus national organization.
Yohan taught on the west side of Chicago and served as an AmeriCorps member in City Year Chicago. Following teaching, Yohan transitioned into nonprofit work focused on college access and persistence. Yohan earned a BA in Classics at Knox College and an MA in Teaching at National Louis University. Yohan lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife Lacey and son Jay.
