Yohan Chang (he/him) is the Director, Special Projects in the Regional Impact and Operations Office. In this role, Yohan will continue leading key change management efforts across the RIOO, such as the Portrait of a Teach Plus Educator, while also taking on broader project management responsibilities and coordination, ensuring effective systems are in place to move projects from concept to successful execution. Yohan will continue reporting directly to the CRIOO, Steph Devine, and work in close collaboration with many regional and center staff members.
Yohan taught on the west side of Chicago and served as an AmeriCorps member in City Year Chicago. Following teaching, Yohan transitioned into nonprofit work focused on college access and persistence. Yohan earned a BA in Classics at Knox College and an MA in Teaching at National Louis University. Yohan lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife Lacey and son Jay.
