The Opportunity
Teach Plus is excited to partner with Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education (MBAE) and the Student Pathways to Success Coalition to support the education community in implementing recommendations from the Coalition’s Policy Playbook. We will be recruiting 5 Teach Plus Massachusetts’ Alum to participate in this new and exciting opportunity!
Teach Plus Massachusetts Mobilizers will engage in advocacy activities and further develop their skills and knowledge as policy fellows. With regular team meetings and strategy conversations, the mobilizers will lay out a plan to rally support in their schools and communities. As a partner to school districts and state education leaders around the country.
The Solution
As mobilizers, these educators will participate in advocacy opportunities at both the local and state levels, with a focus on expanding and scaling successful student pathway options across secondary schools, putting more students on a path to college and career success. As experienced education advocates, they will work to educate their colleagues and communities on college and career readiness and the state’s current opportunity to spread and scale successful pathway programs like Early College and Career & Technical Education through op-ed writing, social media engagements, and a teacher-led webinar for educators state-wide.
