Teach Plus Phoenix Project

The Teach Plus Phoenix Project is a comprehensive design thinking process to reimagine teaching and learning and create a more equitable education system beyond the pandemic.

Are you a teacher who has experienced the impact of the pandemic on students, families, and educators? Have you redesigned how you approach teaching and learning to meet the moment and help your students and families thrive?

You don’t want to go back to the way things were. You want to go forward.

Join us on April 29, 2021, 7:30pm-9:30pm ET, as a participant in our Phoenix Project and help shape the future.

To express our thanks for your time and expertise, we will provide a $20 Amazon gift card following your participation in the event.‚Äč

As a participant, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of four design thinking groups and help shape solutions to improve the system:

  • Thriving Students: How might we reimagine an education system in which all students have their social, emotional, and physical needs met so that they are ready to pursue their unique learning paths?
  • Thriving Teachers: How might we reimagine an education system in which teaching is a profession that attracts, supports, retains, and grows excellent, resilient educators who reflect the diversity and brilliance of their student bodies, and who have differentiated opportunities to lead and learn throughout their careers?
  • Engaged Families and Communities: How might we reimagine an education system in which families and communities are honored partners in schools and student learning, and see their ideas, cultures, and vision for their children reflected in their schools?
  • Teaching and Learning for the 2020s: How might we reimagine an education system that leverages innovative design, standards, and instructional materials and empowers teaching that affirms and is responsive to students’ unique experiences, learning styles, and cultural and linguistic backgrounds — and that prepares learners to thrive in life through college and career pathways?
