Teach Plus Texas Statewide Policy Fellowship
The Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellowship is a highly-selective leadership opportunity available to high-quality teachers across the state looking to deepen their knowledge of education policy and gain a voice in decisions that affect Texas students and the teaching profession. Policy Fellows participate in a year-long cohort experience, with an option to extend for a second year, being equipped and empowered to bridge the gap between teachers, key stakeholders, and policymakers in Texas, without ever having to leave the classroom. As a Fellow, you will become part of a larger movement of teacher leadership while learning how to impact critical policy issues impacting students and teachers.
At A Glance:
- 12-month fellowship commitment, opportunity to extend into a 24-month commitment
- $1,500 commitment stipend, paid at fellowship year completion
Open to all teachers that:
- Have 2+ years teaching experience
- Are a current Texas teacher of record (PK-12)
- Teach in a traditional public or charter school
- Are committed to staying in a student-facing role throughout the fellowship year
Teach Plus Texas Houston Policy Fellowship
The Teach Plus Texas Houston Policy Fellowship is a highly selective leadership opportunity available to excellent Houston-area teachers and Teach Plus program alumni looking to leverage their classroom experience and education policy knowledge to inform decisions affecting Houston-area students and teachers. Houston Policy Fellows participate in a year-long cohort experience (with the option for a second year), which equips them to bridge the gap between teachers, key stakeholders, and policymakers in the Houston area. As a Houston Policy Fellow, you will become part of a larger movement of teacher leadership while further developing your advocacy skills and amplifying your voice.

- $2,500 commitment stipend, paid at fellowship year completion
Open to all teachers that:
- current Texas teachers of record (PK-12),
- with 2+ years of teaching experience,
- that Teach in a traditional public or charter school in Houston-area districts,
- and are committed to staying in a student-facing role throughout the fellowship year
Teach Plus Texas School Leader Advisory Cabinet
The Teach Plus School Leader Advisory Cabinet is a one-year program designed to equip administrators with the skills, knowledge, tools and opportunities to advocate on district policies affecting their school communities. In this program, school leaders work alongside their peers, school community members, and Teach Plus coaches as allies and coalition-builders. Leaders engage in learning designed to develop, elevate and transform decisions around topics of importance to the district.

Teach Plus Teacher-Led Community Connections Network with RISD
The Teach Plus Teacher-Led Community Connections Network supports educators in building their skills and exercising their leadership to facilitate school-based change. Through the network, teacher leaders engage teams of their colleagues in a continuous improvement process focused on redesigning their instructional practices in order to create student-centered learning environments, and then support the design and implementation of these practices at their school sites. The Teach Plus teacher leaders also engage students and their families with the goal of ultimately improving the culture and climate of schools and the educational experience for all students.

- 2.5 year commitment
- $4,000 commitment stipend, paid each program year
- $1,000 in implementation funds
Open to all teachers that:
- have 2+ years of teaching experience,
- are a current Richardson ISD teacher of record (PK-12),
- are committed to staying in a student-facing role throughout the program
