Klara Aizupitis is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who teaches 9-12th grade English, creative writing, and English as a second language at Big Bend High School in Terlingua. Klara is a Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellowship alumna. She coaches cross-country and powerlifting and advises the drama club. Klara is a Mississippi Teacher Corps alumna and has worked with the program as a Summer Lead Teacher to prepare new educators for the classroom. She graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in history and received her MA in teaching from the University of Mississippi.
