Klara Aizupitis is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who teaches grades 9-12 English, creative writing, and English as a second language at Big Bend High School in Terlingua, Texas. In addition, she coaches cross country and powerlifting, and advises the Drama Club. Klara is a Mississippi Teacher Corps alumna, working with the program as a Summer Lead Teacher to prepare new educators for the classroom. Klara is a Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellowship alumna (2021-2022), teaching U.S. history and Advanced Placement U.S. History for five years. She has a BA in history from Swarthmore College and MAT from the University of Mississippi.
