Kaitlin Allsop

Kaitlin Allsopp is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. She is a special education case manager/teacher at Mastery Charter School Pickett Campus in Philadelphia. She began her teaching career as a corps member with Teach for America Greater Philadelphia in 2022 after about six years of coaching high school policy debate, coordinating and facilitating middle school mentorship programs, and co-founding a scholarship fund for graduating seniors. Kaitlin continues to serve as Founder and Executive Board Member of the Great Debaters Scholarship Fund and Member of the Board of Trustees at Women and Girls’ Education (WAGE) International. She earned her BA in political science with a concentration in legal studies and minor in gender studies from Monmouth University, an MA in human rights studies with a concentration in children’s rights from Columbia University, and a dual instructional certification in special and general education from University of Pennsylvania.
