Amanda Larner is a Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow and a teacher leader at the Segue Institute for Learning, a public charter middle school in Central Falls. After graduating from college, Amanda completed a year of AmeriCorps volunteer service, teaching reading interventions in Providence Public Schools. That experience prepared her for a position at the Segue Institute for Learning, where she has taught since 2011. Amanda holds a BA from both the University of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College, and an MEd in teaching English as a second language from Rhode Island College.
