Amy Anderson is a 2024-2025 Illinois Policy Fellow and a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)/Differentiation Specialist at Jane Stenson Elementary School in Skokie, Illinois. As part of the Instructional Support Team, she partners with teachers to analyze data, differentiate instruction, and implement the MTSS framework. Amy began her career teaching kindergarten and has taught a variety of grades and subjects since then, including 5th, K-5 academic enrichment, K-8 math and reading intervention, and 6-8 English as a second language (ESL) support. She earned her BA in elementary education, reading, and early childhood from Luther College and an EdM in education policy and management from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
