Anthony Castro is a 2018-19 Teach Plus DFW Senior Policy Fellow. Anthony teaches 3rd grade at Momentous School in Dallas, a nonprofit school committed to helping students achieve their best by understanding and managing their social emotional health. Anthony is a Teach For America Dallas-Fort Worth alum and an alum of Teaching Trust’s Ed Fellows program. Anthony leads trainings for Border Crossers, an organization that strengthens educators’ analysis of how racism manifests in schools and equips them with tools to create more equitable classrooms. He holds a BA in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida and an MA in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University.
