Anthony Francisco, Sr. is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Rhode Island Policy Fellow. Anthony is the director of culture and community engagement in the Pawtucket School District. Previously, Anthony taught Spanish at the secondary level at Cooley Juanita Sanchez High School, Hope High School, and was chair of the modern languages department in Providence, RI. He taught 1st grade at Carl G. Lauro Elementary and served as an elementary school administrator. Anthony earned his BA in Spanish Education from Rhode Island College and received his MA in Education from the University of Rhode Island. He is pursuing a PhD from the University of the Cumberlands.
