Sarah Archer is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and a 4th grade teacher leader at Chapelwood Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a member of the school’s leadership team and works to mentor new teachers. Sarah was a part of the assistant superintendent’s Women’s Leadership Group, has been a teacher liaison for Ball State University’s Urban Semester Program, and has been a presenter at the MSD of Wayne Township’s Wayne Learns Conference. Sarah was named Teacher of the Year at Stout Field Elementary School and Chapelwood Elementary School. She was also the MSD of Wayne Township’s Elementary Teacher of the Year. Sarah is a building representative for the Wayne Township Certified Teacher Association and is on the district’s teacher evaluation review committee. She earned both her BS and MS degrees in elementary education from Ball State University and earned her EL licensure credential from Purdue University.
