Ariel Maloney is a Teach Plus Greater Boston Teaching Policy Fellow who is an English teacher at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) in Cambridge, MA. In her decade at CRLS, Ariel has held a number of leadership positions including participating in the creation of the enhanced senior year, leading experiential learning trips abroad, piloting an online student writing initiative funded by CAST and the Gates Foundation, and chairing the school’s curriculum committee for NEASC Accreditation. In 2011, she was chosen by the senior class to receive a Faculty Distinction Award honoring her role as a meaningful teacher and mentor. She is also a locally published poet and author. She earned a BA in English teaching from the University of New Hampshire and an MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
