Lance Barasch is a Teach Plus Leading Edge Fellow. He is a high school Algebra and Precalculus teacher at the Townview School of Science and Engineering in Dallas, Texas, where he also serves as the 9th grade department chair. Lance has spent 17 years in the classroom teaching high school math and previously worked as a research assistant at the Simmons School of Education at Southern Methodist University. He is an alumnus of the Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellowship and was a Teach Plus Senior Writing Fellow. He earned his BS in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and his MEd in STEM education from Southern Methodist University.
