Christine Bizzell is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and a K-3 literacy coach at Christian Park Elementary School in Indianapolis. She focuses on supporting teachers and students in the areas of literacy and general instructional practices while leading as a Garden Club facilitator and participating on the School Improvement Team. Christine previously served as a K-2 classroom teacher and instructional coach, a member of the Cultural Relevancy and Equitable Education IPS School Board Policy team, and more. She received the 2014 Russell C. Hill Award Leadership in Character Education and the K-12 Ohio Reading Endorsement in 2023. Christine began her teaching career as an Indianapolis Teaching Fellow and has since volunteered as a new teacher development coach and pre-service training observer. She earned her BA in music with a minor in business and an MPA in Non-Profit Management from Indiana University. She holds an MA in teaching from Marian University and an MEd in reading from Bowling Green State University.
