Joviladra Blake is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and is a 7th and 8th-grade Inclusion teacher leader and mentor teacher for the Clarksdale Municipal School District in Clarksdale. Joviladra is a school leadership team member and a Special Education mentor teacher. Joviladra was named “Unsung Hero” on her campus in 2022. She began her teaching career as a GED teacher in 2008. She completed the Alternate Route teaching program through the Teach Mississippi Institute program with the University of Ole Miss, where she has since received her teaching certification. Joviladra earned a BA in Mass Communication from Mississippi Valley State University and a teaching credential from Ole Miss University.
