Brittany Bogan is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Houston Policy Fellow. She teaches 4th and 5th grade reading language arts and serves as a Coach and Instructional Specialist at Deloras E. Thompson Elementary School in Houston, Texas. Brittany is actively pursuing professional growth through the Spring Independent School District Aspiring Leadership Academy Cohort and is a member of the Houston Area Alliance of Black Educators (HAASBE). Her dedication to education has been recognized with awards such as Rookie Teacher of the Year and HAASBE Teacher of the Year. Brittany holds a BA in social work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and is pursuing an MEd in administrative leadership from Western Governors University.
