Alice Bowe is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and an adolescent teacher (7th and 8th grades) at TCAPS Montessori School in Traverse City. They teach in a multi-age, interdisciplinary classroom using Montessori methodology and prioritize building an inclusive community where students are empowered to take ownership of their learning. Before receiving their teaching certificate, Alice previously served as a math interventionist and coordinator for regional farm-to-school programming. Alice earned their BA in mathematics and physics from Kalamazoo College, an MS in natural resources and the environment from the University of Michigan, and an MA in curriculum and instruction from Eastern Michigan University.
